Look of the Day - Boho winter style

You can keep your bohemian style this winter with this lovely printed Authentic Vintage Maxi Dress for only £20.00

I adore this maxi dress, the colour, the length and it also as a corset style tie on the lower back of the dress which is so different. (ill take a photo of that tomorow!)

It would look great with a waist belt and brown boots. I could even customise it to the length you prefer and even make a skirt out of the remains =)

Only availavle from Treasure Junki

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone , W. H. Auden

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,

Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,

Silence the pianos and with muffled drum

Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead

Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead,

Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,

Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,

My working week and my Sunday rest,

My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;

I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;

Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;

Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.

For nothing now can ever come to any good.

Vintage Buttons

Ive been a very busy lady these last few weeks getting things ready for moving into a shop. It.'s actually my friends shop and she had a spare area downstairs and offered me the opportunity to fill it. Which i have!! Its very exciting and im over the moon about it all.

I started working on these little collections of buttons as i thought they were really querky and they are really old buttons so different from the cheap tack we buy nowadays.

So i plead to all those crafty pople out there to check them out and give me some feedback.

Thanks for looking.

Miss Dior

Elite Christian Dior Couture Splendor

Fashion designer Christian Dior began his fashion career by selling sketches of hats to Parisians in 1935.

Dior established his own house in 1946.
Presented his first collection in Paris (February 12, 1947)

For his first collection, Dior created the New Look for which his fashion house became renowned.

Its feminine elegance, with delicate shoulders, tight waist and full skirt, was inspired by the spirit of Parisian women.

The opulence of his designs contrasted with the grim post-war reality of Europe, and helped re-establish Paris as the joyful fashion capital it had once been.

In the 11 years before his death, Dior dictated European style. Each of his collections had a theme – the classic suit, and the ballerina skirt that ruled the early 1950’s.

When he died suddenly in Italy in 1957, the world lost one of the most elite designers.

Now we can all have at least one Dior in our closet.

Kings of Leon - The lyrics that make me smileeeeeeee

Tells me ive got a big old dick and walks my ass home

Dancing like a badass

 Leaving me stranded all in love on my own

I go crazy when i see you face

This could be the night the moon goes redddddddd

My darling you look lovely,
ive come to lay you down,
uncover your head and submit to me
we'll make a joyful sound
